Night Kind

Hey all, here's an update from me I know it's been a while.  Marco and I are doing a friendly little "VS." project where I'm doing a series of concepts for a Vampire race and he's doing the Werewolf race.  It's all for fun and we're just trying to push each other. This is my first concept, he's just a citizen of the race.  Stay tuned and we'll be sure to post the rest of the series in the near future.

hope y'all dig 'em!

ImagineFX cover and random pieces + step-by-step

Hi all! You're still kicking ass and being just awesome. I just want to share some stuff that I can, since it's been a while from my last update. Lots of stuff still under NDA, but I can show you this ImagineFX cover that I did!

I also included few random personal pieces, and a step-by-step, since I've been asked to do one for once. If anyone finds it fun to go through my process, then I'm happy :)

Also, I'm job hunting for a full-time position within Europe, so if anyone's got an idea, I'd appreciate it! :)

Keep rocking guys, you make my day!

Trailer Hood Redesign

So about 4 years ago me and Matt had this idea for a graphic novel that never got any further than a few character descriptions and some rough sketches. It was called 'TrailerHood' and one of the characters that I came up with was a little boy named, 'William Pumkin'. He was the only one I took to completion (see old drawings at the top) and I even created a sculpy maquette of him. I recently started going back to these characters and I'm wanting to make them all in zbrush and then someday pose them all for a big group render.

What inspired me to revisit this guy was a movie my wife and I watched called, 'Son of Rambow'. The bully in the movie totally reminded me of William so I took a picture of him from the movie and liquified and painted the image to match what I envisioned for the character.
So this is where I'm at after just a couple of hours. I'm still adding the hair pieces, (which takes forever) and then I have a bunch of expressions that I want to post as soon as I finish the teeth. Hope you guys dig it.

Hello!
So I quit my job and decided to paint fulltime. There's so much I need to learn! I'm starting with a doodle a a day. Here's the first :)

I thought I'd do a series of Creature Classifieds ( CraigsList for creatures )

Dashing Flower Goblin seeks attractive, young female partner for long term relationship. I'd like to find someone quirky, cute, wild and playful.Pixies, fairies, sprites and elves welcome, must not be allergic to pollen. I enjoy long romantic flights, sleeping under the starry sky and collecting mushrooms.
